This Nanotechnology Undergraduate Education (NUE) program entitled, 'Virtual Research Experiences for Undergraduates in Nanotechnology', at Stevens Institute of Technology, under the direction of Dr. Frank T. Fisher, is being funded by the Division of Engineering Education and Centers (EEC). A team of six faculty active in various areas of nanotechnology, an expert in the area of multimedia visualization, and the Center for Innovation in Science and Engineering Education (CIESE) will develop a suite of self contained multimedia learning modules based on video documentation of authentic undergraduate nanotechnology research and designed for use within undergraduate science and engineering curricula.

The proposal for this award was received in response to the Nanoscale Science and Engineering Education (NSEE) program solicitation, NSF 05-543, Nanotechnology Undergraduate Education (NUE) component.
