Abstract

This paper studies the absorption of amino acid-VT made b linking amino acids with VT resins to the pathogenic antibodies in the sera of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Results show that Gly-VT, Pro-VT, Arg-VT, Ser-VT, Gln-VT, Trp-VT and Tyr-VT adsorb the antibodies in the sera of SLE patients. Compare with the DNA-VT, it seems that Tyr-VT, Gln-VT and Ser-VT have specific adsorption of SLE pathogenic antibodies. To evaluate the specific absorption of the absorbents used for SLE treatment to the pathogenic antibodies, four parameters have been suggested.
