Abstract
Treatments of B lymphoma cells with dimethyl sulfoxide, nitric oxide, N-acetylcysteine, or pencillamine increased the gene transfection efficiency of electroporation (~8-fold) without affecting cell viability. Decrease of electro-induced oxidative stress may explain antioxidant-increased electroporation efficiency.
