Abstract
A point-to-multipoint automatic repeat request (ARQ) scheme which is applicable to satellite communication systems is presented. Analysis shows that the scheme has a better throughput efficiency than the known point-to-multipoint ARQ scheme under high error rate, large round-trip delay and large number of receivers.
