Abstract

Polarization measurements in color-allowed B→D*ρ decays were in agreement with predictions based on factorization and on heavy quark symmetry. Similar measurements in color-suppressed B→J/ψK*, showing deviations from factorization, lack a precise quantitative theoretical interpretation. This paper proposes the processes of the type B→VA, involving vector and axial-vector mesons, from which the given missing information can be obtained.
