N2 - A novel digital watermarking algorithm based on space time coding (STC) and linear decimation (LD) techniques in communication is proposed in the wavelet domain. The watermark after STC and LD is embedded in the wavelet coefficients of the host image through chaotic modification. Simulation results show that it is not only robust against some attacks such as local cropping in varying degrees, but also has high security. This demonstrates the efficiency of our watermarking algorithm.
