Characterizing piezoceramic material using complex frequency excitation

Abstract

A characterization technique for the lossy piezoceramic materials using complex frequency was developed. The technique allowed the calculation of equivalent circuit parameters and material parameters such as the attenuation constant. The impedence at the resonant point was also calculated using the technique.
