Abstract

In Signal Processing, Vol. 48, No. 1, January 1996, pp. 85-90, Kundu proposes a modified MUSIC algorithm and demonstrates that the modification improves the algorithm's performance. Both the modification and its efficacy have been known for some time, and we provide an explanation for the improved performance that is more directly to the point than that provided in the referenced paper.
