Abstract
The authors summarize some of the preliminary results of a program designed to elucidate various aspects of compounding thermosetting resins in continuous kneaders. Specifically, the effects of small changes in the initial composition on the curing and flow behaviour of the resin, and the interactions of operating conditions with kneader performance discussed.
