Abstract
An analytical solution of the steady-state flow over a inclined landfill liner is presented. The results of this solution are compared to two other models for flow prediction over landfill collection systems. The computation of depths employs an iterative approach which is implemented by a very-easy-to-run code, written in standard BASIC. This analysis can provide initial estimates for the depth, but would overestimate the drainage rate in the presence of actual permeable liners.
