Efficient quasi-phase-matched frequency conversion in a lithium niobate racetrack microresonator

Abstract

We demonstrate efficient second harmonic generation in a quasi-phasematched, high quality factor (Q0 ~ 5.3×105) racetrack microresonator. The observed normalized conversion efficiency is about 3:8% mW-1.
