N2 - Cloud computing is a new computing paradigm in which dynamically scalable resources are provided as a service over the Internet. One central concern in cloud computing is the privacy and integrity of data processed at the cloud. In this paper, we propose blind processing service using trusted computing mechanisms to provide improved privacy and integrity to potential users. Utilizing blind communication and execution services, a user exchanges his/her sensitive information with a cloud system via isolated processes whose execution environment and data is shielded from the rest of the system after ensuring the system has correct hardware, trusted computing base, correct credentials, and trustworthy state.
