Abstract

A module based on neural circuits in the visual system is being developed to assist students. The design team includes biomedical engineers with expertise in systems physiology - one an expert in the area of visual information processing - and learning scientists who bring to the table expertise in the efficient design of educational materials. The objective of this presentation is to demonstrate how a partnership between bioengineers and learning scientists can be productive in building optimal educational materials in the field of bioengineering.
