Abstract
Error control for two-dimensional information arrays is studied. Such control is considered of great importance in both digital communications and computer systems. Hadamard matrices are generalized, resulting in the concept of Hadamard cubes and a class of two-dimensional error-correcting codes. This class of codes has high error-correcting ability and is suitable for two-dimensional information arrays.
