Abstract
The results of an experimental study of heat transfer to power-law fluids flowing in a cylindrical tube are compared with the results of a numerical simulation programme developed by Lawal and Mujumdar. The experimental studies conducted at the Czech Technical University used CMC solutions and tomato juice as working fluids. The experimental programme and the computational model are briefly described.
