High-extinction electro-optic modulation on lithium niobate thin film

Abstract

We exploit a cascaded MachZehnder interferometry design to offset inevitable fabrication errors, demonstrating up to 53 dB modulation extinction for a wide range of wavelengths between 1500 nm and 1600 nm.
