Abstract

With the technology readiness and the introduction of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft into the market as the urban air mobility (UAM) services, it is crucial to develop a cohesive and environmentally friendly process to persuade the involved parties and the public to accept this service. In this study, we propose systemigram approaches to engage stakeholders from the prototype stage for eVTOL and have demonstrated a framework for introducing new technologies into the market using the systemigram process. The proposed approach focuses on the introduction and testing phases in a multi-phases development cycle. Using systemigram as a qualitative approach, this study goes beyond just the system's design and introduces the eVTOL system to the public and the local, state, and federal governments as well as consumers and the community with the eVTOL ports.
