Memory-induced geometric phase in non-Markovian quantum open systems

Abstract

This is a synopsis of our recent study on the memory effect of geometric phase in generic open quantum systems by using a stochastic quantum trajectory approach. We show that the geometric phase can be fundamentally modified by its non-Markovian environments [1].
