Abstract

The paper summarizes data regarding the distribution of thickness, crystallinity, orientation, and impact behaviour in extrusion blow moldings. It emphasizes the effects observed in conjunction with changes in the processing conditions. These distributions are analyzed in conjunction with experimental molding data and some theoretical considerations of the relevant heat transfer phenomena.
