Abstract
The nonlinear oscillations of spherical voids in a solid in connection with the incidence of a longitudinal acoustic wave on them are investigated. The level of the scattered signals at the second-harmonic and difference frequencies are calculated. The values of the effective nonlinearity parameter of the porous medium are determined within the framework of the homogeneous approximation.
