Abstract

In this paper, a discrete-time formulation of L1-adaptive control is developed for a specific class of uncertain systems. Leveraging tools from linear programming, a numerically tractable approach and a control design strategy are proposed for optimization of the low- pass filter in the ℓ1-adaptive control architecture. This optimization provides a trade-off between robustness and performance for a discrete-time L1-adaptive control design. In this study, simulation results for a discrete-time system are presented to validate the theoretical findings.
