Abstract
This chapter looks at the difference between publishing in finance versus entrepreneurship/management journals. It explores the notion of publishing home bias in different disciplines, as well as citation home bias. It also looks at the merits or otherwise of posting work on SSRN on other public webpages, and whether enlisting a big-name co-author is worthwhile. It concludes with a summary of things to do and things not to do to get published. The author hopes the chapter will help scholars in the future decide how to position their work and to manage their careers.
